Mazarrón is a municipality and it's located in the Region of Murcia. It's in southeastern Spain, so the temperature is very nice, most of the year. Mazarrón is situated on the Mediterranean coast, about 70 kilometers southwest of the big city of Murcia. You can get there by booking a plane ticket to Murcia airport or Alicante airport. Visit Puerto de Mazarron
Puerto de Mazarrón is the harbor of this town. There are a few interesting buildings in the old town that show how rich Mazarrón's history is. For example, the town hall and the former Cultural Center. Behind the town hall, you will find the 16th-century church of San Andrés, which has a very beautiful Mudejar ceiling. Furthermore, Convento de la Purísima, Castille de los Vélez (Castillo de los Fajardo) – and the view over the old town that you have from this castle – are so worth it.
Have a look at Gredas de Bolnuevo
Are you a nature lover and do you like to visit special places? Then don't forget to visit Gredas de Bolnuevo! These are rocks that have been carved into fantastic shapes by wind and water. A natural spectacle that you don't want to miss out on!
Be sporty!
Country Club Mazarrón allows you to go golfing. But the whole area is fantastic for walking, running and even cycling. This has many routes, especially along the coast and through the mountains.
